Pastoral Care at First.
The Boundless Ministry at FBC serves those members in assisted living, independent living, or in their homes, who are unable to attend services due to minor or major health concerns. We are always looking for individuals who will commit to ministering to our Boundless members by providing monthly contacts through visits, meals, cards and prayer. Once a relationship has been established, an individual can customize their service based on the members’ circumstances and needs. For more information, call 918.594.5000.
GriefShare is a friendly, caring group of people who will walk alongside you through one of life’s most difficult experiences. You don’t have to go through the grieving process alone. It may be hard for you to feel optimistic about the future right now. If you’ve lost a spouse, child, family member, or friend, you’ve probably found there are not many people who understand the deep hurt you feel. This can be a confusing time when you feel isolated and have many questions about things you’ve never faced before. GriefShare groups meet weekly to help you face these challenges and move toward rebuilding your life. Each week participants watch a video seminar featuring top experts on grief and recovery subjects. After viewing the video, they spend time as a support group, discussing what was presented in that week’s video seminar and what is going on in their lives. For help locating an active group, call 918.594.5000.
Overcomers Outreach is an international network of Christ-centered 12 Step support groups which ministers to individuals, their families and loved ones who suffer from the consequences of any addictive behavior. We exist to serve as a bridge between traditional Twelve step recovery groups and churches of all denominations. We recover together as we meet to study and grow in God’s Word. Our ministry is all welcoming, regardless of age, race, lifestyle, background, or belief. We have a group that meets weekly at our South Campus. For more information all (918) 585-1571.
