Pastoral Care at First.

handsBoundless Ministry

The Boundless Ministry at FBC serves those members in assisted living, independent living, or in their homes, who are unable to attend services due to minor or major health concerns. We are always looking for individuals who will commit to ministering to our Boundless members by providing monthly contacts through visits, meals, cards and prayer. Once a relationship has been established, an individual can customize their service based on the members’ circumstances and needs. For more information, call 918.594.5000.

stephenStephen Ministry

We all face challenges in our lives, but for some people, it can feel like they’re drowning. When a brother or sister in Christ feels overwhelmed, Stephen Ministers reach out with God’s love to help pull them back to the surface. By becoming a Stephen Minister you will be specially trained to listen, care, encourage and support people who are going through difficult times. divorcecare

DivorceCare is led by people who understand what you are going through and want to help. You will learn how to heal from the deep hurt of divorce and discover hope for your future. During the first 30–40 minutes of the meeting, we watch a video seminar featuring top experts on divorce and recovery subjects. After viewing the video, we spend time as a support group, discussing what was presented in that week’s video seminar and what is going on in our lives. To find a class or for more information, call 918.594.5029.

griefshare

GriefShare is a friendly, caring group of people who will walk alongside you through one of life’s most difficult experiences. You don’t have to go through the grieving process alone. It may be hard for you to feel optimistic about the future right now. If you’ve lost a spouse, child, family member, or friend, you’ve probably found there are not many people who understand the deep hurt you feel. This can be a confusing time when you feel isolated and have many questions about things you’ve never faced before. GriefShare groups meet weekly to help you face these challenges and move toward rebuilding your life. Each week participants watch a video seminar featuring top experts on grief and recovery subjects. After viewing the video, they spend time as a support group, discussing what was presented in that week’s video seminar and what is going on in their lives. For help locating an active group, call 918.594.5000.
