MISSION ACTION FOR JULY
During the month of July FBC will be collecting NEW backpacks and NEW jeans for children, plus stylish jeans for teens. These can be delivered to the Caring Center or put in the containers marked "Back-to-School Clothing Drive" outside of the Adult Media Library or in the mirror room. Donations are always needed, cash or checks are accepted, checks can be made out to First Baptist Church with the notation, "Back-to-School Clothing Drive" in a an envelope. Women’s Mentoring Ministry is a program for women who are interested in mentoring a younger woman. It is also for women who desire to have a mentor. The next matching of Mentor to Mentee will begin at an Orientation Coffee to be held on January 11, 2009. This is also an informational meeting.
